To enable our business to grow we require an enthusiastic Engineer to join our Infrastructure team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the role is focused on providing hands on Project / Civil Engineering.  You will directly contribute to the effectiveness the infrastructure projects

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Actively monitoring the work environment for hazards
  • Conducting regular job site inspections
  • Monitor daily quality procedures
  • Assisting in quality and safety audit
  • Ensuring works are carried out in the most efficient and cost effective manner
  • Monitoring daily production and cost/schedule adherence
  • Liaising with Project Manager around process improvements and clarification in design
  • Liaising with client's regarding clarification in design
  • Daily reporting on progress, non-compliance, delays to works
  • Assisting with estimating and tendering
  • Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.       

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary Qualification – Civil Engineering
  • Advanced computer literacy and experience using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Current unconditional driver's license
  • Good interpersonal and management skills
  • Sound communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace
