MACA Awarded New Midwest Iron Ore Contract
Mining & Civil Australia were recently awarded the Koolanooka Iron Ore Project located near Morawa in the midwest of Western Australia. The contract consists of Crushing & Screening of existing stockpiles and surface ore, Load & Haul and Drill & Blast for the client Midwest Corporation. The award of this project expands Mining & Civil Australia's presence in the Midwest Iron Ore precinct to two projects with the established Jack Hills Project owned by Crosslands operating to the Northeast.
The area was last mined between 1966 & 1974 by Western Mining Corporation.
The contract awarded to MACA for the Koolanooka Project is scheduled to commence towards the end of 2008.
