Chris is a qualified construction engineer who has spent his entire career within the mining industry, working with both mining contractors and mining companies over his 30 year career.
During his career Chris has also fulfilled senior off-shore management and executive positions in Africa, South America and the West Indies. Chris’s considerable experience and familiarity with MACA's clients and operation will enable him to provide solid leadership and strategic direction for the MACA business.
Geoff is a founding shareholder of MACA. Geoff is responsible for planning, operating strategy, capital expenditure and delivery of safety and financial outcomes on all projects. Geoff has worked in the sector for 40 years focusing on plant maintenance and asset management.
Peter has 15 years experience in the areas of financial management, accounting, business and taxation services. He has provided services to a large number of mining, exploration and construction companies and has provided services to MACA for over 10 years. Peter has acted in roles of Director, Company Secretary and CFO for a number of privately owned businesses. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Mitch has more than 20 years of management experience in the management of fixed and mobile plant. His career has been based both in Australia and overseas where he has developed a solid knowledge of plant management under a variety of conditions. Mitch provides the leadership to the plant department, optimising lifecycles and world class maintenance practices to the company’s fixed and mobile assets.
Tim is a qualified Mining Engineer from Camborne School of Mines in the UK. His 30 years in the mining industry has seen him work in the UK, South & West Africa, Canada and 25 years based here in Australia. His experience covers surface and underground mining and processing in gold, diamonds, nickel and other base metals in a number of senior management roles.
Mark is a professional civil engineer with over 26 years’ experience in both resource and public sector infrastructure developments. Mark has developed strong working relationships with all of his clients, support partners and internal/external stakeholders during his extensive career and has held substantial roles with some of Australia’s largest and most successful service companies. Mark’s key driver in leading MACA’s Civil & Infrastructure division is to provide our relationship clients with unparalleled value by delivering our projects in a sustainable manner for all parties. .
Early in his career he worked for OEM’s in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and the USA. This was followed by 12 years as a Regional General Manager for an international mining equipment and maintenance company, spending 6 years working in Australia and more recently 6 years in North and South America.
Throughout his 25 year career he has worked for Contractors, Hire companies and OEM’s in the maintenance industry with 20 years experience in the mining sector and including 15 years in managerial positions
In his role as General Manager Corporate Services, David’s key responsibilities are strategic planning, continuous improvement, company culture and Executive Team and Board reporting. Both Human Resources and Learning & Development functions report directly to him. Prior to joining MACA, David owned a successful management consulting firm for 21 years. With offices in Perth, Sydney and Singapore, the firm’s clients comprised many of Australia’s leading companies. Outside of Australia, David consulted to clients in the US, UK, India and Asia across an array of industries.
