Mining Area C

Crushing

Mining Area C was officially opened in October 2003 by BHP. The surrounding ranges have over 3 billion tonnes of Iron Ore resources that are to be mined, crushed and transported to Port Hedland bound for overseas markets. MACA was contracted in July 2018 by BHP to build and operate a fixed plant crushing facility over an agreed contracted period.
