Our vision is a statement of intent. It’s ambitious in scope but very specific in its make-up – we know what it will take to get there. It’s always been the combination of our peoples’ commitment, ingenuity and new ideas that has driven our success over the years and today is no different.
Sustainability is at the heart of MACA’s business. We integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into our decision-making every day.

Always striving to be better and do better

Committed to our promise of performance

Thriving through honesty and encouragement

Driving change through new ways of working
MACA’s success has been built upon strong relationships forged with our employees, clients and suppliers.
Together with Thiess, we have the power to continue to make a meaningful impact for the future.
We are committed to fostering sustainable practices, promoting environmental stewardship, and prioritising the well-being of our communities.
The synergy between MACA and Thiess positions us perfectly to tackle the challenges ahead and embrace the opportunities that arise.
We don’t have all the answers but we know what success looks like and we’re committed to make it happen.
MACA was founded in Western Australia in 2002 as Mining and Civil Australia. We have since grown to become a leading contractor in the global market, delivering mining, crushing, civil construction, infrastructure, and mineral processing. In 2022, MACA was acquired by Thiess Group Holdings Pty Ltd and became a subsidiary of the Thiess Group, sharing in their vision to drive sustainable change.
People are MACA’s driving force, and their safety is at the forefront of everything we do. In trusted partnerships with our clients, subcontractors and employees, we empower this shared commitment and responsibility.
We are also committed to making a meaningful impact across the communities in which we operate. Our long-standing partnerships contribute to life-changing medical research and hospital care, accessible youth mental health services, employment opportunities for Aboriginal youth, and a vibrant arts sector.
Our reputation is built upon trusted partnerships, a hands-on operational approach, and innovative solutions to achieve positive project outcomes.
