On Saturday 21 September, Regis Resources welcomed 48 families to the annual Family Day at the Duketon South operations!
We were proud to be involved, displaying MACA’s impressive lineup of dump trucks, water trucks, graders, dozers, excavators, and a 200-tonne transport float, allowing families to get up close with the equipment.
We conducted a live mining demonstration with a 9200 excavator, showcasing its capabilities as it loaded several trucks, captivating the attention of many family members.
Tour buses operated every 15 minutes, transporting families to Kooka Lookout for breathtaking views of the Garden Well pit and processing plant.
After the mining activities wrapped up, families returned to camp for a delicious lunch, ice cream from Mr. Whippy, a guided tour, and a fun foam party organised by the Emergency Response Team on the tennis courts.
It was a day for our people to share what their life is like away from home, creating fantastic memories for all!
