MACA awarded Fenix Beebyn-W11 Contract

MACA awarded mining contract at Beebyn-W11 iron ore mine

Mining services provider MACA has been awarded a contract by Fenix Resources to deliver drill and blast, load and haul, and crushing services at the Beebyn-W11 Iron Ore project in the Mid West region of Western Australia.

This contract reflects MACA’s strong ongoing partnership with Fenix, as well as the expertise and adaptability of its operational teams.

Since 2020, MACA has provided the full suite of mining services, including crushing and screening, at Fenix’s Iron Ridge Iron Ore Mine, approximately 20km from Beebyn-W11. The award of this contract will see MACA working concurrently at the Beebyn-W11 and Iron Ridge sites.

Thiess Group Executive Australia West David Greig emphasised the importance of MACA’s strong and ongoing partnership with Fenix.

“Securing the Beebyn-W11 contract is a clear sign of MACA’s ability to reliably deliver on its promise of performance across a range of mining services, as demonstrated through our work at Iron Ridge,” he said.

Thiess Group Executive Chair and CEO Michael Wright said: “This contract will see MACA further embed their presence in Western Australia’s rich iron ore industry. The award continues the Thiess Group’s ongoing progress to diversify our commodities portfolio and geographical footprint.”

MACA joined the Thiess Group in 2022, and remains focused on delivering safe, efficient, and reliable services – harnessing the power of people and technology to drive sustainable change.
