Our team recently executed a transport first, moving a convoy of four trucks from the goldfields to the Pilbara.
The convoy of four Komatsu HD1500 trucks were transported from Garden Well mine to the Eliwana mine site, as a solution to help resolve the issue of long lead times for traffic wardens, and for MACA to continue servicing our client and sustaining production targets.
Hire and Logistics Manager Daniel Ridolfo, said with the support of Main Roads WA, MACA were able to transport the convoy successfully and deliver what was promised to the client.
“The move went smoothly, and feedback from our client and traffic escort wardens was so favourable, that Main Roads WA have now formally approved the route for convoys of four moving forward.
“This achievement is a testament to the determination of the team. A special thank you to Main Roads WA for accommodating our aspirations and to Charles Hull Contracting for facilitating the 1,400km journey while being courteous to passing drivers,” said Daniel.
