Safety took centre stage at the launch of The Gift by Miners’ Promise last week.
The moving performance was praised by David Greig, Group Executive – Australia West at Thiess MACA, as an important tool for the resources industry.
‘The Gift’ is a health, safety and wellbeing theatrical experience that, through storytelling, demonstrates the care and compassion that Miners’ Promise brings.
David was speaking on a panel after the debut performance, alongside WorkSafe WA Commissioner Sally North and Debbie Morrow (GAICD) from Miners’ Promise, with Samantha Panickar hosting. He expressed his hope that The Gift would be seen by mining operations across the country.
As the WA ambassador for Miners’ Promise, David is a strong advocate for sharing valuable insights into how we can keep driving stronger safety practices and prioritise the wellbeing of our workforce and communities.
Thank you to Miners’ Promise for hosting such a powerful event and for the incredible work they do to support resources workers and their families during times of need.
We are proud to stand as a Charity Ambassador for such a meaningful organisation.
