Since 2018, MACA has played an important role in the ongoing success of the Gruyere Gold Project, delivering integrated mining services at one of Australia’s largest gold mines. Working in partnership with Gold Fields, MACA has delivered a broad range of mining services that have supported the successful development and ongoing operation of the project, from its early establishment through to large scale gold production.
MACA’s scope includes drill and blast, load and haul, crusher feed, pit dewatering, fleet management, technical services and rehabilitation activities. Through its crushing division, MACA has also delivered crushing and screening services, including ROM operations, equipment maintenance and production support. By embedding experienced operational teams on site, MACA has consistently delivered safe, reliable and productive outcomes while supporting the project’s long term production objectives.
MACA’s involvement at Gruyere began prior to mining operations, with the delivery of significant non–process infrastructure works including contractor facilities, workshops, fuel and lubricant storage systems, explosives facilities, administration buildings and supporting site services. These early works played an important role in establishing the infrastructure required to support the mine’s successful development and ongoing operations.
In June 2023, MACA was awarded a five-year extension to continue delivering open–pit mining services, reflecting the strong relationship between the project team and Gold Fields.
