As one of Gold Fields’ flagship Australian operations, St Ives has been a cornerstone of gold production in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields for decades. Commencing in September 2024, MACA was engaged on a 12-month contract to deliver open-pit mining services, further expanding its partnership with Gold Fields.
MACA’s scope at St Ives includes drill and blast, load and haul, pit dewatering and fleet management services. Drawing on extensive experience in gold mining operations across Western Australia, MACA provides safe, efficient and reliable mining solutions that support the continued production and performance of this established operation.
The project complements MACA’s long standing work at Gruyere, enabling the sharing of operational expertise, resources and knowledge across two major Gold Fields operations. This approach strengthens collaboration, supports operational efficiencies and reinforces MACA’s ability to deliver consistent outcomes for clients across multiple sites.
